Rohingya Crisis Myanmar: Misplaced Outrage and India’s Political Narrative

Rohingya Crisis Myanmar is being misrepresented in India. Targeting refugees distracts from real issues in foreign policy and regional diplomacy.

These days, there is heavy politics on the issue of Rohingya Crisis Myanmar India. Organizations like BJP and VHP are targeting Rohingya refugees, while the truth is something else. The Rohingya Crisis Myanmar have come to India from Myanmar, not from Bangladesh. They have been subjected to years of oppression, violence and genocide in Myanmar, which has been confirmed by international human rights organizations.

But some political forces in India are ignoring this truth and presenting the Rohingyas as β€œinfiltrators”. The whole affair seems more like an attempt to gain political advantage than a humanitarian crisis. If these people are really troubled by what is happening in Bangladesh, the question is why is all the anger being directed at vulnerable refugees?

If the BJP and VHP are really serious about the situation in Bangladesh, then their real battle should be with Modi and Amit Shah. The foreign policy of the central government needs to be questioned. There should be an open debate on how India’s relationship with the Bangladesh government is going. Pressure should be exerted at the diplomatic level, negotiations should be held, not intimidation of the helpless people who have taken refuge in India.

The Rohingya Crisis Myanmar refugees are not the biggest security threat to India, but they themselves are struggling with fear, hunger and an uncertain future. The Constitution guarantees dignity and the right to humane treatment to every human being in India, whether a citizen or a refugee. But in the politics of hate, these constitutional values are left behind.

It is important that I understand the difference between facts and feelings. Solutions to the refugee crisis do not spring from hatred, but from sensitivity, international cooperation and responsible diplomacy. The confusion of linking the Rohingya issue to Bangladesh should stop. The real questions should be raised about the policies and intentions of the government, not attacks on the weak.
