While discussing Manipur Budget Relief and the situation there, it is clear that the state is facing a serious crisis. Following the recent devastation and damage, people’s houses and shops have been burnt down, deeply impacting their lifestyle and livelihood. In such a situation, the Manipur government has announced some relief measures in its budget, like:
- Rs 15 crore for temporary relief.
- Rs 7 Crore for compensation
- Rs 35 crore for displaced people

However, it is natural to raise the question whether Manipur’s problems can be solved with this much money? When we look at the scale of the loss, this amount appears very small. Particularly, when the state requires reconstruction and rehabilitation on such a large scale, this budget appears insufficient.
An important point is that there does not appear to be any special contribution from the Central Government in this budget. This is worrying, because small states like Manipur require special assistance from the central government, especially in times of crisis.

Therefore, I request the Central Government to release an additional package of at least Rs 500 crore for Manipur. This amount will be important for the reconstruction of the state, relief operations and rehabilitation of displaced people. The central government should show urgency in this matter and stand with the people of Manipur.
In Lok Sabha, @DrAmarSinghINC ji has expressed his concern on this issue and demanded immediate action from the Central Government. He says that the people of Manipur should get justice and their problems should be resolved at the earliest.
In conclusion, it can be said that the budget allocated for Manipur is inadequate. The Central Government should come forward in this matter and release sufficient funds to help the state. Only then can the people of Manipur get relief and reconstruction of the state becomes possible.
Conclusion
The amount allocated in Manipur’s budget is inadequate. The central government should take immediate action and issue an additional package of at least Rs 500 crore. This step will prove to be a big relief for the people of Manipur and will be helpful in the reconstruction of the state.
